Short Biography
I was born in 1976 in Minsk, Belarus. Studied Linguistics, BA 1999; Education, M.Ed. 2005; and European Studies, MA 2007
Since October 2007 PhD student and research fellow at the Vienna School of Governance, University of Vienna, with a focus on governing risk-related policy areas

Phd Topic
Investigating participatory governance practices in the application of the nuclear energy (working title)

Research Interests
EU energy policies, EU external relations and Neighborhood Policy towards Western CIS (Belarus, Ukraine, and Moldova), life science governance, Central Asia 

Work Experience
My professional experience can be described as related to the following three fields:
(1) Academic teaching, training and research (I lectured at Minsk State Linguistics University and Belarus State University, taught various training seminars and workshops);
(2) Humanitarian support, health and social rehabilitation of children after Chernobyl (through my voluntary work for a British charity Chernobyl Children’s Life Line);
(3) Liaison and facilitation of inter-institutional relations (worked as international relations and external officer).
